Terms of Use

1. Parties and acceptance

These terms are between FMC Software ("Seansly", "we") and you, the user of seansly.co, clinic.seansly.co and the Seansly mobile app. By posting a request, creating an account or registering as a psychologist you accept these terms. How we handle personal data is described in the Privacy Notice.

2. What Seansly is - and is not

Seansly is a matching platform that connects people looking for therapy with mental-health professionals registered with Seansly Clinic. Seansly does not provide healthcare, does not deliver therapy, does not diagnose, does not recommend treatment and gives no medical advice. Psychologists on the platform are independent professionals; they deliver the service and carry the professional responsibility. Psychologists register with Seansly Clinic by declaring their profession and are matched to requests by the expertise they declare. Seansly may not have verified the licence or professional title of a psychologist on the platform; licence verification is currently optional for psychologists. Before you start working with a psychologist, you may ask them for their professional title and their licence or registration details. Seansly is not an emergency service; if you or someone else is at risk of harm, call 112 immediately.

3. For clients

1. Posting a request is free. The information in your request must be truthful; you verify your e-mail address with a one-time code.
2. Your request is shown, with your contact details masked, to psychologists registered with Seansly Clinic whose declared expertise matches it. You may receive several offers; you can accept only one. The moment you accept, your contact details are shared only with that psychologist and the request closes for everyone else.
3. A request stays open until you choose a psychologist or cancel it. You can cancel it at any time.
4. The session fee and the way you pay are between you and the psychologist; you pay the psychologist directly. Seansly is not a party to the payment, does not collect it, takes no commission and is not responsible for refunds of session fees. Cancellation and no-show conditions are agreed with the psychologist.
5. Posting fake requests, posting on behalf of someone else without permission, or harassing psychologists is prohibited; we close such requests and may suspend the account.

4. For psychologists

1. Eligibility. Only mental-health professionals legally entitled to practise may register with Seansly Clinic. At registration you declare your profession and provide your title and the details of your practice; you are responsible for the accuracy of this declaration. Licence verification is currently optional: you may request it from your panel by providing your licence country, your registry or registration number and a supporting document. Documents are reviewed; the outcome is approval or a reasoned rejection. Approval does not mean that Seansly certifies your professional qualification; it means your declaration and document were reviewed. Clients are informed that Seansly may not have verified your licence and that they may ask you for your title and licence details. A false declaration is grounds for closing the account.
2. Professional responsibility. Clinical decisions, ethical rules, confidentiality, record-keeping, taxes and the healthcare-advertising rules of your country are your responsibility. Your profile text may not contain false or misleading claims.
3. Requests and offers. Requests matching the languages, topics and groups you declared appear in your account. Sending an offer requires one credit; a credit is a fee for access to the request - it is not a commission and no share of the session fee is taken. If the client cancels the request, the credit you spent is returned to your account. The client's contact details open only when your offer is accepted and may be used only for that service relationship.
4. Credits and packages. Packages are monthly levels: GO with 3 offers a month for $49 a month, PLUS with 8 offers a month for $99 a month and PRO with 20 offers a month for $199 a month. Paying 6 or 12 months up front brings a discount and bonus offer credits; current prices and contents are shown on the Subscription screen of the panel. Prices are in US dollars. A purchase is an order: the invoice and payment details are sent by email, and once payment is confirmed the credits and the period are written to your account. Extra credits can be bought while a paid plan is running or as a founding psychologist. Credits do not expire. The practice panel is free on every plan. By invitation, Seansly may grant a psychologist VIP status for up to 12 months; VIP cannot be purchased, gives the access of the PRO plan and includes a one-off gift of credits when it opens.
5. Founding-psychologist programme. The first 20 psychologists verified in each licence country are founding psychologists. Founding psychologists pay no panel subscription fee and receive starting credits; the amount is shown in the panel. We may change the programme conditions for the future; founding status once granted is not withdrawn.
6. Client data. In the professional relationship you establish after your offer is accepted, you are the controller of the client's data. Session notes and the clinical card you keep in Seansly Clinic are open only to your account; you can download a copy at any time from Profile › Your data.
7. Suspension. We may suspend or close your account in case of forged documents, client complaints, breach of these terms or legal obligation; you will be informed about unspent credits.

5. Prohibited use

Using the platform for unlawful purposes; collecting other people's data without permission; scraping with automated tools; creating fake accounts; impersonating others; attempting to bypass security measures; using client data outside the service relationship.

6. Intellectual property and content

Seansly's software, design and guide content belong to us. You own the text you write in your profile and grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it on the platform. Guide content is general information and does not replace a clinical assessment.

7. Service and liability

We provide the platform as is; we do not promise uninterrupted access and may change features with prior notice. Seansly is not responsible for the quality, outcome, payment or disputes of the service between psychologists and clients. To the extent mandatory law allows, our liability is excluded except for intent and gross negligence. Consumers' statutory rights are unaffected.

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time - clients from My account, psychologists by writing to hello@seansly.co. We may also close an account for breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye; consumers keep the rights granted by the mandatory provisions of the country they live in.

10. Changes and contact

When we update these terms, the date and version number change; we notify material changes to your registered e-mail address. Questions: hello@seansly.co.
