Seansly
Editorial policy
This page states plainly how our guides are produced, which rules they pass, and what they do not claim.
How guides are produced
Topics are not invented; they come from questions people actually type into search engines (autocomplete suggestions and "people also ask" boxes). Drafts are written with AI assistance and then checked by a second AI editor.
Which rules does a guide pass before publication?
- Length and structure: question headings, a summary sentence that answers directly, a checklist.
- Statistical honesty: no percentage or ratio is published unless its source is named in the same sentence.
- Crisis safety: suicide and self-harm queries are never chosen as topics; on these subjects only an emergency line is shown.
- Title honesty: the byline is "Seansly Team"; no guide claims a licensed professional title.
- Guides for psychologists contain no Seansly price, credit or quota figures; regulation and earnings statements carry their source.
- Links point only to real pages on this site and to reliable external sources (WHO, NICE, APA, peer-reviewed journals).
What we do not claim
Guides draw on the frameworks and sources they name; they have not been reviewed by a clinician. They are general information and do not replace diagnosis or treatment.
Self-tests
Self-assessment tests (PHQ-9, GAD-7) are published only in their official validated translations; they are never machine-translated. A result is not a diagnosis and is not stored anywhere.
Corrections and updates
If you spot an error, write to hello@seansly.co; we correct it in the guide itself. The publication date is shown at the top of every guide.
